HI, this is me above in the picture. My name is General Klaudius Czibulka. My country is great britain. this country played a big part in the world war 1. Britain was one of the main countries fighting on the side of the Entente against the Central Powers. Britain, together with its empire, went to war early in August 1914 and fought for the entire duration of the war.
Week one.
I was born in Great Britian. I had 2 brothers and 1 sister. They all went into war. I was the youngest of all of them. I became a General for Great Britian during WW1. Before I got drafted into the was, my life was pretty good. Here is a picture of my source of transportation,My car. Here is a picture of my house, My house. Here is my dog that I miss so much, my dog.
">Assassination of Archduke. In this video of the assassination of the Archduke of Austria-Hungry, it shows the group of men called the Black Hand. These are the people that set up the main plan to kill the Archduke. They all pledged when of if they shot the Archduke that they would drink poisen that would instantly kill them. After the member of the Black Hand shot the Archduke and his wife, he drank the poisen and it was ineffective. After this happened, this is what led the world to WW1. During the begining of WW1, Germany went through Belgium to France to attack!
Week two.
Britain wanted to win this war really bad. All the soldiers tried their hardest. The Schielfen Plan was used when Germany went through Belgium to try and capture Fance to keep Russia out of the war period. Britain loaded up their best tanks, soldiers, and equipment for this war because it meant so much.
In this poster, it is saying that the army needs more men to enlist today. It is also saying that it needs younger men as well. quote " Helped by the young lions. The old lion defies his foes!"
CHRISTMAS!!
All the soldiers that i knew hated winter time. They hated winter time because of a few reasons. One of the reasons they hated it was because it got really cold and they didn't have any shelter. Another reason why no one liked winter is because they miss their family. They said, " not spending Christmas with your family is horrible." They all miss their family soo much. But other than it being cold, having no family, and sleeping in treches, winter time wasn't to bad.
Week four.
Now I am on my way home. I miss all of my family. I hope when I get there that I find out everyone is the same as they were when I left. The last familly member I saw was my siser Joann. She was enlisted as a nurse during the war. I just kept hoping in my mind that everyone would be okay, no deaths in the family, and everyone is just as healthy as they were when i left.
I just walked through the front door of my home. I found out that my family threw a little coming back party for me. And I also found out that everyone is still the same. And that was what I was hoping for the whole time I was gone off to the war.
